I’m Katherine – a scientist by training and a creative spirit by nature. I was born and raised in North Carolina and have now planted roots in Atlanta where I live with my two sweet dogs, Gracie and Ralphie.

One of my favorite things to do is to find ways to combine science and creativity – the blending of these two things is where I feel most alive. Her Flour Garden gives me a space to nurture these two interests – whether that’s through figuring out which grains of wood make the best handmade vases and bowls or throwing together ingredients to create the perfect recipe. And if it's a DIY project? Count me in. Home décor? Yes. Filling my house to the brim with plants? Consider it done. Putting my own spin on classic recipes? I'm here for it.

The best me has my hands full of flowers, flour, or both.
